Basic Frame |

The frame was made from eight Lionel 027 car chassis, can't remember which cars they were. They were cememented together and then an outer basswood frame added. Couplers and bolsters were next, along with a block over the top of the coupler on the ends. |

Both chassis primed with white. Each painted with different blue color. |

Gas Tanks |

| The tanks are wax molds that I ordered from England. | |
|
|
|
|
| Platforms, made out of styrene, were glued to the top of the frame. The mold mounts upside down. To attach them, balsa wood plugs were placed inside the mold and then screwed into the chassis. The molds were sanded to help hold the paint. | |
