I purchased this LGB loco at a good price but wanted to do a kitbash with it. I found several photos of British 0-4-0s, plus I had a Kitmaster HO static model. |

The wheelbase of the LGB model was within the variations I found on prototype locomotives. My version would not be an exact duplication of the real Pug, but would have a similar look. |

I cleaned off the LGB motor box and built a platform
on top of it. The weight now sits in a boxed in area. |

Building the Water Tank |

| The water tank is made on a basswood frame with a thin cardboard skin. To this was added a sheet of .020 styrene so that the tank would have the same smoothness as the rest of the loco. | |
