I found this loco at a train show for $20. The kit was new and had all the pieces along with the instruction sheet. |

The chassis is an older Athearn flywheel type with outside wheel bearings. |

| I decided to do a NWSL upgrade, so I bought a set of replacement wheels and a re-motor kit. |

| On the test track, the mechanism took 8 volts, a few wiggles
to get moving and 1/2 an amp during running. The first step will be to clean up the electrical contact points and replace the wheels. |
