The Monolith Monsters

I saw this movie one Saturday afternoon when I was seven years old. I thought the premise was fascinating and I never forgot it.

"A meteorite crashes to Earth in the desert outside the town of San Angelo. Everyone who comes into contact with the shattered remnants turns up petrified or starts slowly calcifying. Local geologist Dave Miller…school teacher Cathy Barrett…and Miller′s former professor Arthur Flanders…race against time to prevent the rock fragments--which grow to enormous size when exposed to water-- from over-running the town."

The EOFFTV Review

*****
My particular take on the movie is that the rocks don't fall over rather they multiply upward and outward at the same time. Also they are similar to coal and make good fuel. Instead of falling into water, I used an underground water source as a reason for them to grow continually.

Martian Mountains of Iran

These mountains in Iran have the look I am trying to achieve with my concept of a ridge.

HO Scale Hoppers

This is a collection of HO scale hoppers I kitbashed in 2010. My goal was to
see if I could take hoppers and doctor them up just enough to not look like hoppers.
All have full length bay doors. Some are 2-bay or 3-bay and others are cylindrical
hoppers with the tops removed. I designed the decals in Microsoft Word and had them
printed on clear decal paper.
