Spray Paint BoothPart 5: Spray Booth Rebuild October 2025 |
After a year of using the booth, I ran into several issues: 1) the booth was too low for me to see inside 2) the spray chamber was too small 3) I had poorly designed how the filters fit. |

| I cut down a wood bedrail and installed on the bottom. It is held on with four plywood tabs. | |

Here are the filters as I had them. They are fiberglass and were hard to cut and fit in, plus I got fiberglass on my skin. |

I removed the housing and built a styrene frame to fit a 12 X 18 filter. |

Extensions were glued to the sides along with a brace. The top was reused unmodified. Old filter mounts were discarded. Interior painted with white appliance paint. |

Air ducts have extensions installed inorder to fit against the frame. |
